Currently, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an opening for a Compound Management Technologist (Job Number 17639).

The Compound Management Technologist position in the Chemical Biology Department receives, registers, stores and delivers chemical compounds from internal and external sources in a timely manner. Develop and implement process procedures and SOP's related to compound management for application among the entire department. Organize the results of compound management practices and reports results to the lead of the High Throughput Analytical Chemistry Center in an appropriate time frame. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot required laboratory equipment and apparatus used to track and store compounds. Serve as point person for all Compound Management needs. Perform other related duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department and the institution.
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field and 2 years of experience with lab instrumentation such as UV Plate Readers, Liquid Handlers, HPLCs, Mass Specs, Gas Chromatographs, Flash Chromatograph or related technology is required.

• Experience with automation equipment and computer programming preferred.
